The American Legion Riders Post 1187 were honored to ride by the 100th birthday celebration for a WWII Veteran today, and linked up with Post 178 Riders as well. Ralph grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and served in World War II (Army 3rd Armored Division, 36th Armored Infantry Regiment). He is a Silver Star recipient and dual Purple Heart award recipient. He was presented with a Post 1187 challenge coin.
