Castle Rock and surrounding communities, you may have seen or read the news the American Legion Department of Colorado has had its charter suspended.

While the Department’s Charter has been suspended for at least a year, we want to assure our American Legion members, Veteran Community, and the greater Castle Rock community that the suspension is only with the American Legion Department office and does not affect the Districts, Posts or Legion families (American Legion Riders and American Legion Auxiliary).

We continue to support our Veterans and their families. In fact, we recently supported a Veteran coming through Castle Rock on the way to the VA in Colorado Springs with gas, food and lodging; we continue to conduct Color Guard and Honor Guard duties at various places around the county including Fort Logan.  We are steadfast with our commitment to Strengthening America and helping our Veterans.
