Spring is finally coming to Colorado! Post 1187 participated in Sedalia’s St Patrick’s Day
parade, an annual event we’ve lead for many years. It was a cool, sunny day and perfect for a
parade. We had several members of the Post and Auxiliary present to carry flags and banners.
George, once again carried Old Glory and everyone was excited to see him. Hat tip to Greg
Myers who brought his Humvee to the parade and carried June and Darlene around the route—it
was great. And of course the Pipe and Drum band gave us cadence in grand St Patrick’s Day
fashion!
Don’t forget our upcoming event on the 22 nd of March at the Douglas County Library in Castle
Rock. We have Will Davis, the State Veteran Services Officer coming to talk to us about the
PACT Act. The meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30—All are welcome!
Thanks to everyone who came out to Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Sedalia! Éire go brách!
